Health and safety when you rent a bouncy castle

Bouncy castles are always a fun way to spend time with family and friends, but safety should always be everyone's top priority. When you rent a bouncy castle from us here at Bounce 'N' Boogie, we take all the steps necessary to ensure the safety of our customers, such as:

• Our products are inspected yearly by a PIPA accredited inspector.
• After every use, we clean, disinfect, and inspect all our inflatables.
• We regularly update risk assessments (these can be provided on request).
• All electrical equipment is PAT tested.
• We have public liability insurance.
• We are fully trained inflatable operators and undergo regular training. We are also BHIA members, so we can stay up to date on all industry standards.

Legally, bouncy castles cannot be used outdoors in winds exceeding 24MPH. Some manufacturers have even lower wind speed limits. For this reason, we will not hire any inflatable if wind speeds exceed the manufacturer's recommendations. We understand how frustrating this can be, but please understand this is a decision made with your safety in mind and not one that we make lightly. Any inflatable can easily become unsafe in the wrong weather conditions, and the risk just is not worth it.

Inflatables are a safe way to supply hours of endless fun when they are used correctly and in the ways they are supposed to be used. Accidents do not happen very often, but when they do occur, a lot of times it's because rules have been broken and our instructions ignored. For this reason, all of our products need to be always supervised by a responsible adult to ensure the safety of users. If this is something you do not have time to do or you would simply rather one of our staff members attend, please let us know, and this can be arranged at an extra cost.

We reserve the right to cancel any booking if weather conditions are to dangerous. it is illegal to inflate any inflatable in wind speeds of 24MPH or above.
